Brass EDM electrode tubes

Brass electrodes/tubes are commonly used for small hole drilling (low speed or high speed EDM drilling) on a large variety of electrically conductive metals and materials.

Based on molecular composition of the brass (approx. 70% copper and 30% zinc), it will remove material at a fast rate when it will face some rare materials, tool steel, hard alloys, stainless steel and common metals.

Brass electrodes will wear much faster than copper or tungsten electrodes when it will spark near to the workpiece and this should be taken in consideration when drilling very deep EDM holes.
